I just thought it was so cool. I was never much of a fan of Spaghetti westerns so my partner was my guide as we scrambled up rickety stairs into even more rickety saloons and jails. The most fabulous thing I saw was the archway where Henry Fonda shot Charlie Bronson's brother in 'Once Upon a Time In the West'. Okay, the sets are past their sell-by dates, but hey, when you're covered in dust and standing where Clint Eastwood once stood, who cares. We watched a gun flight in one of the saloons and I had a picture taken at the well where Claudia Cardinale drew water for Charlie Bronson. As you can tell I was smitten, not just with the sets but with the amazing scenery. I love nothing better now than screaming "I stood there" when I watch yet another Clint Eastwood film. I have even recognised the sets in other films and in commercials. To cut a long bla bla story short. I loved it.
